Coventry Annual Meeting Letter
Dear Coventry Homeowners,
We are pleased to invite you to the Coventry Homeowner's Association Annual Meeting. This year's meeting will again be held in the in the Building 1, Ground Floor Classroom at Carol Woods on Wednesday, November 6. Refreshments and sign in will begin at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be called to order at 7:00PM. Please note that this is where the meeting has been held for the past few years. The enclosed maps provide three options for directions to the meeting room, and places to park.
At this meeting we will elect two members to serve terms of two years on the HOA Board. Mae Lee Waddell and David Bellin are running for re-election. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor at the meeting. Each person nominated from the floor will have no more than four minutes to present his or her qualifications and vision for the Coventry Community.
As you know, over the past five years Coventry has been engaged in an important and involved community project to address long deferred maintenance and needed upgrades to our physical property. With strong support of Coventry owners and Carol Woods, we have now completed repaving of our parking lot, replacement of all roofs, including skylights, and updated gutters to code. We have also replaced rotten wood and painted wood on all units.
We have appreciated input from many of you at Board meetings about how to address the high priority remaining deferred maintenance needs in the community, including stoops, sheds, and rear railings. The present Board has authorized RPM to proceed with these repairs, and weather permitting, they will be done this year or in 2020. Please also find attached a letter from Coventry's Attorney confirming that maintenance and replacement of decks and patios are owner responsibility.
We want to thank and RPM management and staff for all their help in improving the structural integrity of Coventry and protecting the owners' investments, as well as improving the marketability of property in Coventry.
